Kotaku asks Sega Australia why they're here

Gamespot AU broke the news last week that Sega is making a come back in Australia, leaving many with the lingering question "what the heck are they planning to do here?".

For the four tortured souls who asked that very question in our comments section, relief is at hand. Luke Plunkett, Associate Editor at Kotaku, made his way to the new offices of Sega Australia, which I am guessing isn't at the old Sega World at Darling Harbour, to ask them just that. Were they here to develop a super secret Sonic MMOFPSRTSRPG? Or perhaps they're aiming to bring back to glory the once mighty Sega World, complete with outrageously expensive to play arcade machines with the comfort of having no one else around to bother you when you're playing?

Well, no. They're here for distribution reasons.

And that's pretty much where it stops getting interesting, but if that floats your boat, please head on over to Kotaku immediately!
