Australia, SA, July 19th - Digital Art developer Hyperfocal Design has announced the release of its "Hyperfocal Skies 2" texture set. The product is the successor to the well received and popular "Hyperfocal Skies" collection.
Hyperfocal Skies 2 features 65 high resolution, photographic textures including hemispherical sky textures, alpha masked horizon lines and 3 bonus alpha masked sky textures. Hyperfocal Design maintains its extremely high resolution standard, the skies and horizon lines measuring at least 12000X4000 pixels in high quality JPG format. The provided resolution and hemispherical format allow totally unrestricted camera movement in all directions and caters for zoom lenses up to 200mm. The sky textures can be used in any application; including high end print projects, film, architectural visualization and can easily be scaled down to meet the needs of game or web developers. The collection builds upon the existing library of Hyperfocal's sky textures and includes a huge variety of weather conditions and times of day, including sunsets and sunrises, blue skies, cloudy days, twilight, night skies and overcast conditions. The addition of alpha masked horizon lines allows users to quickly add common background environments, and each horizon texture seamlessly matches up to most sky settings. The bonus alpha masked skies allow users to alter the look of existing skies and add animated sky effects.
