The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE), Australia?s premier Computer Games and 3D Animation Training Institution has an opportunity for an experienced 3D Tutor with an extensive background in human and animal anatomy and physiology. The AIE requires a specialist 3D Tutor to teach the application of of human and animal anatomy and physiology in digital animation.

Key responsibilities will include:

Tutoring classes in the use of software, in particular to teach 3D Studio Max to an entry standard, for the Computer Games, television and Advertising Industry
Teaching animal and human anatomy and physiology, in particular its application to digital animation
Designing and creating animations for the schools own promotional purposes
Liaising between the AIE and universities and science institutions as potential employers of AIE graduates specialising in the digital animation of biological processes, the development of 3D content within higher education and science sectors
Representation of AIE at science conferences
Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Two years teaching experience with industry software packages including 3D Studio Max, Digital Fusion and Alias /Wavefront Maya
Hons. Degree in Biology or related field
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
Diploma of Screen (3D Animation) or equivalent
Desirable Attributes:

Ability to liaise with the Higher Education Sector
Experience in developing 3D content for the science sector
Understanding of 3D interactive technologies
Salary is commensurate with experience
