Micro Forte Sydney is currently developing an Xbox Massively Multiplayer Online Game. You will join an exceptionally talented team and help establish a new sonic standard for our latest project. This is a full-time position and will require that you work in-house.
We're looking for a talented and diverse individual who considers great audio to be one of the most important elements in a successful video game.
He/she will be able to effectively design, produce and communicate audio features, perform hands-on sound design & audio production, and facilitate all sound-related aspects for specific game titles.
Primary responsibilities include driving the creative audio vision, technical and aesthetic design, prototyping, production and planning the overall audio presentation in the game.
Working closely with the CTO, the Audio Engineer will manage all audio content production by working closely with in-house & contract sound designers and composers. The ability to work in conjunction with audio programmers and other sound designers to implement high-quality audio under aggressive schedules and deadlines is a must.

Requirements
? A solid understanding of the audio production and technical development process as applied to console or PC games is required.
? The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience creating sound and be ideally versed in console and PC audio technologies.
? Expert-level skills with current audio production tools as well as a thorough understanding of traditional studio engineering and audio post-production is also required.
? A strong understanding of game audio aesthetics and implementation methods will be an advantage as well as a specific knowledge of the Xbox audio architecture.
? Location recording techniques will be an advantage
