Role
Experience developing and managing artwork for games on PC and console is essential. The ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary artist with strong experience in both 2D and 3D art including concept art, and modelling / texturing / animation in 3DSMAX.

You will be able to provide direction and feedback to ensure that all art is consistently at a high standard, integrated with the game and appropriate to the target platform. You should be able to create, estimate and schedule art tasks for the team of artists and outsourced artwork pipeline in collaboration with the Producer and Lead Artist.

You will be working closely with the Design Lead and Producer to establish the visual style and ultimately be the visual "vision keeper" for the project. You will be providing supervision and guidance for all artists on the team including allocating and managing the art tasks. Your enthusiastic feedback will ensure that the art continues to meet your established high quality visual bar.

Essential Experience

* Strong visual artistic skills and an ability to establish the look and feel of a project with high production values.
* Minimum 2 years Games Industry experience in a lead or senior art role.
* At least 2 published game titles.

Micro Fort? Canberra is expanding their current team for an exciting new action MMOG title. We are looking for a designer whose creative talent, passion for games and ability to manage the creative direction of the project will help deliver a cutting edge new product.

Role
Experience bringing games from conception to final product release is essential. The ideal candidate will have a wide experience in designing and using tools, level geometry and scripting systems. You will be able to schedule and prioritise game play tasks and manage creative input from all team members. You will also have strong skills in documenting game design through the use of word processing and art packages. You should have good communication ability and be able to understand the technical limitations of the game engine. You will be able to do a competitive analysis of similar games. The role will include iteratively balancing and fine tuning game play elements through the utilisation of QA and focus group resources.

Essential Experience
? You will have experience in development from first concept to product release.
? Wide ranging experience of designing and using tools, geometry and scripting systems.
? At least two published titles.
