C++ Generalist

Us:

Digital Lode is an immersive media company located in the Docklands Cotton Mills, Footscray. We are a team of VR evangelists working on a variety of real time-rendered VR projects for all platforms, with a focus on standalone consumer VR.

Digital Lode’s primary focus is our original "Espire VR” franchise. Espire 1: VR Operative released in November 2019 and is a single player VR experience with a focus on stealth, espionage and action. It’s a consistent top seller on the Oculus Quest storefront, and we want to take that success to the next level.

We are expanding our team and have a position open for a C++ Generalist. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in gaming and VR to join our team.

You:

You’re great at C++ programming and can write code that is clean and optimised. Multiple years of experience working as a C++ programmer. You might be looking to get into gaming, or already in the game dev industry and looking to shake things up. A passion for VR and a general awareness of trends in the video games industry would be a plus.

What you’ll be doing:

Creating coding solutions that are well optimized and platform-agnostic. You’ll be refining existing code as well as creating new code within our UE4 project, building with C++ and extending with Blueprint in Unreal Engine. You’ll also have the opportunity to use Unreal Engine alongside C++, as well as troubleshooting, problem-solving and even some game designing.

To Apply:

Email us at jobs@espirevr.com with [C++ Generalist] as the subject heading.
Please include a cover letter, your CV and link to an up-to-date folio with examples of your work.
