Due to continued growth Ratbag is now seeking to appoint a Lead Cinematic Artist and Cinematic Artist.

For both positions, we are looking for motivated, multi-skilled artists who have the following essential skills:

?Proficiency in 3D Animation and character rigging using 3D Studio Max and Character Studio
?Ability to model and texture using 3D Studio Max and Photoshop
?Basic knowledge of film making principles and processes
?Good eye for composition, motion, timing and lighting
?Ability to interpret scripts and storyboards
?Effective communication skills both oral & written
?Ability to work independently but take direction when needed
?Contribute positively and effectively in a team environment

In addition, essential attributes required by the Lead Cinematic Artist are:

?Games Industry experience in a Senior or Lead role
?Experience in animation direction, cinematic production & art resource management
?Knowledge and understanding of technical restrictions and capabilities of current console technology
?Ability to manage, motivate and direct a team
?Ability to review and effectively critique art assets

The following attributes will be considered a distinct advantage:

?Illustration and storyboarding skills
?Experience with directing and / or working with motion capture animation
?Familiarity with lip-synching and facial animation
?Interest in and knowledge of video games
?Games Industry experience
