Torus Games, an international games company based in Melbourne, Australia, is looking for a creative, dedicated individual to join its design team. Are you interested in creating games for Nintendo Game Boy Advance, Sony Playstation 2, Microsoft Xbox and beyond? Yes? Then read on!
We require someone who has:
? Experience in game design on a published game;
? Exceptional writing and grammatical skills;
? A high sense of creativity and practicality;
? Knowledge of and passion for computer games;
? Excellent team communication skills, both written and oral;
? The ability to work under tight deadlines;
? A solid understanding of gameplay and what makes games fun!
The job involves:
? Writing and revising games design documentation;
? Maintaining and co-ordinating the design process from project inception to completion;
? Working with game concepts originating from yourself and others;
? Writing sales and promotional documentation;
? Writing game manuals and walk-through documents;
? Flowcharting game structure;
? World and Level building;
? Interacting with artists, programmers and producers.
