Environment Artist

Fuzzyeyes Studio is looking for exceptionally skilled 3D Environment Artists for an unannounced PC project. The ideal candidate will have experience modeling and texturing assets for a diverse visual range of environments.

The successful candidate must have a solid grasp of form, colour, and light for both 2D and 3D art assets. The environment Artist must have exceptional skill in modeling and texturing. The environment artist must be well versed in these tools ? 3D Studio Max, Maya and Photoshop. The ability to work effectively in a team is highly regarded.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
? To produce art assets directed by the Art Lead or Art Director on a variety of production tasks
? Work within a collaborative team environment
? Develop the design and artistic vision of the video game in variety of genres, refine and translate the ideas into a conceptual style, look and feel.
? Create workable designs that will enhance the creation of gameplay in the video game.
? To follow project standards for workflow pipelines and organization of assets

Required Skills/Experience:
? 2+ years experience or the equivalent of one (1) or more published titles.
? BFA or equivalent skill level as demonstrated in portfolio
? Skills in drawing, with the ability to produce high-quality, imaginative concept art and professional storyboards

Lead Animator

Job Type: Full Time

Fuzzyeyes Studio is looking for a talented lead animator. They will work closely with Project Manager and Lead Artist to address all animation issues related to all current projects.

The successful candidate must be able to define the stylistic vision for character animation, maintain technical standards related to animation and contribute accurate scheduling information to the Project Manager. Additionally, the Lead Animator will be responsible for effectively communicating project objectives to the team of animators on a daily basis.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
? Lead a team of animators, taking the responsibility for artwork generated by your team
? Assisting and collaborating with the Art Director, Project Manager, and other Leads to create production schedules and production processes
? Ensure your team delivers work on time within design specifications
? Make critical technical and artistic decisions
? Maintain a strong team relationship with other departments such as engineering and design
? Participate in animator/artist reviews
? Contribute innovative and original ideas towards new artistic processes and tools
? Develop animation style guides to help define the personalities of the characters.
? Oversee the work of the animation team on a daily basis, effectively communicating animation direction, as well as delivering constructive feedback to work in progress.
? Problem solving and consistent solution provision for technical issues related to animation.

Fuzzyeyes is currently looking for a Game designer for an unannounced PC project. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of designing a new game from the initial idea to the day it goes on sale.

The successful candidate will be involved in creating large sections of the design individually or as part of a group, based on the Game Design Document or direction from the Lead Designer. Other tasks will involve working with the design team in a collaborative manner to ensure the correct execution of the design vision.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
? Level Design and gameplay implementation.
? Script AI behavior, specific gameplay systems or mechanics.
? Craft quality, fun design, appropriate to genre, demographic, and platform.
? Demonstrate a high level of creativity and innovation in game design.
? Effectively design major game features within given constraints.
? Ability to write thoroughly and within given time constraints.
? Communicate design clearly to other team members.
? Work with programmers, artists and lead game designer to ensure timely design buy-in.
? Remain stationary for long periods of time while working in front of computer.
? Ability to organize ideas in a compressive and well-structured game design document.

Required Skills/Experience:
? Diploma qualification or equivalent
? At least 2 years work experience within the industry, experience using popular level editors is a plus.
? Shipped at least one title or more as a designer or senior designer, from concept through to final product.
