We have 5 exciting, career opportunities available for game programmers. We are looking for game developers who are hard working, career minded and energetic! THQ Studio Australia offers a competitive compensation package, project bonus and company stock options. The studio is also a wholly owned subsidiary of THQ Inc, the number 2 independent games publisher in the world.

These are full-time, permanent positions in sunny Queensland, Australia.

Positions available:

Job Requirements for all positions:

Must Have:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong C++ and object oriented programming skills (c programmers need not apply)
Strong problem solving ability
Excellent communication skills
Self motivated with strong work ethic

Lead Engine Programmer:

Must Have:
Strong 3D math and graphics background
Experience with cross-platform development
Experience with low level PS2 engine development
Experience with low level GC engine development preferred

Senior Technical Games Programmer:

Must Have:
Strong 3D math and graphics background
Experience in the games industry
Console experience preferred

Senior AI Games Programmer:

Must Have:
Experience in the games industry
