Would it be a wasted $250 for a noob too turn up, listen and watch? Or is this type of thing generally aimed at the already savvy max: character artist/animator?

"This MasterClass, while targeted to games artists, will offer techniques and tips that are also applicable to animators and technical directors working with real-time or pre-rendered content to create CG characters."

I can tell some of you will be saying i have answered my own question, but short of signing up to 3 month tafe, courses and or technical colleges like QANTM - im getting the feeling its all about learning this stuff yourself by getting in and having ago and maybe a good part of that might be too see how professionals do it?
