HardCover Entertainment Website Launched

Dear recipients,

This is Dario Centrella of HardCover Entertainment, a new and growing Adelaide-based videogame development team.

We at HardCover are very excited to unveil the construction site we call a studio through the website www.hardcoverentertainment.com

With the sad demise of Midway Studios in December we have endeavored to keep a number of highly skilled people in Adelaide. Despite this, we are still in need of skilled programmers.

We hope you enjoy the website. If you have any questions about our studio, employment or just want to give your feedback, don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Dario Centrella
Game Designer, 3D Artist and Webmaster

Hardcover has gone into voluntary administration (ie. bankruptcy). It is no more. To add insult to injury it has been known that the employees' superannuation were never paid and the company was not paying tax.

The entire affair proved too for Mark Bracken, who lost tens of thousands trying to fix the company and secure investors in its dying days. His subsequent departure is touted the final blow for the struggling studio. Without his ability to attract investors the secret racing title will likely never see the light of day.

Yeah riiiigh! Mark Braken lost tens of thousands eh? When HC was paying him tens of thousands? Funny about that. Rings horribly of the old Ratbag days doesnt it Mark. Lots of promises to make publisher deals.. nothing happens.. ppl jump ship. Funny about that.

HardCover went into administration back in October 2006. Since that time they were looking for new investors. A large number of employees have since walked due to poor conditions. There are still a few that remain.

Hardcover Entertainment, went into administration after Mark Bracken was on board, and it was his suggestion. He wanted to be paid big big money to do the job. Plus he didn't lose thousands of dollars, he only lost a few hundred bucks. So get your facts straight before talking shit. He approached HC, Promised the world and delivered zero.
