GameGossip.com has reported that "Magna Cum Laude", the latest in the humorous Leisure Suit Larry series of adult adventure games, has been refused a classification in Australia due to it's depiction of sexual activity...
Unlike many other countries, Australia does not have an R18+ games classification. Any game released here must at least fit into the MA (+15) rating before hitting our shelves. It's possible that the developers may release a cut down, 'edited' version for Australians, a route taken by other developers (such as Rockstar with their controversial Grand Theft Auto 3 game) to give their title a local release.
Consumers here, of course, could just import an uncut version from New Zealand.
Looks like another boost for the NZ economy!
