Tom Parkinson, Chair of the new Electronic Games Investment Fund and proprietor of Avoca Media Holdings, and Melanie Wheeler, who was an investment banker for five years in London and specialised in mergers and acquisitions in the video games industry, will discuss issues involved in game development funding and finance.
Tom has substantial expertise in the financing of media projects and how previous financing models relate to the game industry today, while Melanie will provide a perspective drawn from several years in the financial end of the ever-dynamic UK game industry. The 1.5 hour event includes an audience Q&A and will be followed by complimentary networking drinks.
