Blue Tongue Entertainment was founded in October 1995 and has produced the hit titles ALF Finals Fever, Starship Troopers, Jurassic Park, The Polar Express and more recently Nicktoons Unite! for the Sony Playstation 2, and Nintendo Gamecube. The studio has already begun work on its next Nickelodeon title Barnyard, based on a movie to be realized in late 2006. Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing task management on a project, ensuring production timelines are met and establishing realistic task time estimates. This position will report directly to the Project Director.


- Liaising with project leads and production directors to identify potential production risks
- Working with QA manager to manage project QA process
- Liaising with Producer to ensure consistency of product with design
- Liaising with Director of Production to ensure consistency of project management process with company wide guidelines and processes
- Frequent communication with production team
- Regular communications with licensors for allocated projects


- Significant Project management experience in a related Industry (IT).
- Enthusiasm and knowledge of video games in general
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for quality
- Degree qualifications
- Game industry experience an advantage

Game Programmer

Game Programmer is responsible for programming, implementation of technical and game design documents, and completing programming tasks to schedule. This position will report directly to the Lead Programmer.


- Develop and code game systems
- Ensure high quality code
- Perform functional testing on their code
- Fix bugs


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong 3D programming skills
- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
- Familiarity with latest concepts of real time rendering and AI a huge plus
- Game industry experience
- PS2 systems level experience an advantage
- Strong C and C++ skills
- Solid 3D math skills

Senior Programmer

The Senior Programmer is responsible for the systems design and programming implementation of technical and game design documents. We currently seek someone familiar with PS2 and GameCube architecture, and who has developed engine code for at least one shipped title. This position will report to the Lead Programmer and the Technical Director.

Job Description/Responsibilities:


- Researching and implementing new technologies
- Developing reusable system architecture
- Develop and code the more complex game systems
- Assist with forming schedules
- Complete programming tasks in accordance with schedule
- Perform functional testing on their code
- Fix bugs


- Significant game industry experience with experience in a senior role
- Strong C and C++ skills, 3D math skills
- PS2 and/or GameCube experience is essential
- Familiarity with assembly language is essential
- Showing particular attention to detail
- Being familiar with current games

Senior QA Tester

The Senior QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the QA team follows quality guidelines and processes during the development of a game, and management of internal and external bug databases. This position will report directly to the QA Manager.


- Perform various testing on all game products
- Responsible for cross divisional communication
- Assist with test case creation and execution and QA task allocation
- Organising and creating builds for testing and delivery
- Assist with organisation and execution of focus tests


- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of video games in general
- QA testing experience required
- Knowledge of QA and QA processes
- Programming / Scripting experience desired
- University Education desired

Mid / Senior Animator

The Animator is responsible for setting up and animating 3D characters generated by the art department. The successful applicant will be required to create world-class animations for organic and inorganic models. This position will report directly to the Lead Artist.


- Produce quality exaggerated and naturalistic character animation
- Rigging and skinning existing models for animation
- Modeling and texturing when necessary
- Lip synching and facial animation for scripted sequences


- Games industry experience
- Proven animation skills (2 and 4 legged characters) essential
- An ability to create both natural and exaggerated animation
- Expert in Max 7, Character studio (especially biped), Photoshop
- Proven modeling skills and texturing skills preferred
- Knowledge of Maya animation system, a bonus
