I have a passion for games which motivated me to study game design at Qantm college/SAE where I graduated in 2011. After struggling to find work and completing short courses in animation and programming, I stepped away from games to travel and volunteer across Asia. Following my return I chose to pursue my interest in Psychology at the University of Melbourne where I graduated in 2015. Following this I attempted to do masters in secondary teaching but to my disappointment it was not how I imagined and therefore I quit. Now I am (again) hoping to find a career in games. While my credentials are outside the scope for games, I am hopeful this will provide as evidence for my thirst for knowledge and ability to learn and adapt to complete any task.
I have interned at Wicked Witch studios where I assisted in the level design and camera patterns for the popular Catapult King. As I continue to have a positive relationship with this company, this has lead me to providing assistance on many occasions. Most recently I assisted with quality assurance for Rugby League Live 3 on current generation consoles.
While it was a number of years since my studies in game design, I continue to fuel my knowledge by following tutorials and completing personal projects with friends.
While I feel I am more than capable of working in the game industry, I sincerely hope the brief introduction I have provided is sufficient enough to spark your interest.
