Nick has been working in the games industry for over a decade and is currently Blue Tongue's Creative Director. He's had a number of roles in game design and production and leads one of Blue Tongue's development teams. He's been a project director for a number of Blue Tongue's titles including Jurrassic Park: Operation Genesis, Barnyard, and most recently de Blob.

Terry Lane has been working as a video game artist since 1995. His first job as lead concept artist on the notorious PC smash, Carmageddon, gave him the opportunity to work as a modeller, animator, lead artist, and creative director for nine years before moving to Australia with his family. Today, Terry is the studio art director for Blue Tongue (THQ) where he's helped them create titles like Nick Toons Unite!, Barnyard, and de Blob.

Blue Tongue Entertainment was founded in October 1995, and became a part of THQ in 2004. We now have more than 90 staff, and have shipped games in a wide range of genres. Blue Tongue's de Blob scores 83 on Metacritic

Congratulations are in order for Melbourne's Blue Tongue who released their highly anticipated Wii puzzle / action game, de Blob, last week. Seventeen game reviews have given the game a glowing 83 percent average on Metacritic, with one local gaming website stamping the game with a perfect ten out of ten score. Reviewers have applauded the developers behind de Blob for its highly polished visuals, unique and fun game concept, and the entertaining and humorous story.

New De Blob footage

Publisher THQ has released some new video of De Blob, showing off some of the extra polish on the locally developed Blue Tongue game . De Blob is set for a June release on the Nintendo Wii and DS. The DS version was developed by Helixe.
