// JOB DESCRIPTION //
Have you ever longed to disintegrate your tyrannical robot overlord with your trusty raygun? Of course you have, we all have; who needs motorised metal morons telling us what to do with our lives? Well now’s your chance to help thwart the mechanical menace by joining our team here at Weta Workshop and Magic Leap as a QA Analyst.

As a member of our QA department, you will be an integral part of the core game development team. You will need to work closely with designers, programmers and content creators to identify, log and track issues to ensure they are resolved as quickly as possible. You will also be required to liaise closely with off-site QA, Standards and Compliance teams, assist with preparing and deploying builds and support both internal and external user tests.

// RESPONSIBILITIES //
Maintain high levels of communication with the development team and provide regular updates on bug status and progression.
Prepare, deploy and test game builds as required.
Execute and manage test plans created by the QA Lead.
Liaise with off-site QA teams to identify, test and verify Standards and Compliance issues.
Work with developers to articulate acceptance criteria and communicate test efforts.
Provide feedback to development in regards to operational and performance requirements, as well as possible design improvements.

// REQUIREMENTS //
Previous game development QA experience is highly preferable, but not essential.
Knowledge and understanding of traditional and novel testing methodologies.
Experience with Standards and Compliance testing.
Previous experience with hardware testing and maintenance is desirable, but not essential.
