About Us
Cog Studio is an independent games developer based in Queensland. Our current work is focussed on creating engaging, educational games for commercial clients.

The Opportunity
Cog Studio is seeking a talented UI artist for our current project to develop our game menus on a negotiable contractor basis.

Project Specifics
The project is a stylised educational Gear VR game.
We are looking for a motivated, autonomous and talented UI artist to work on a contractor basis, to produce:

UI
• Menu icons and buttons
• UI design (Skeleton UI is already established but needs a design pass for improvement and fresh ideas)
• Implementation in unity
• Pfx and UI animation proffered

Essential:
• Experienced user of Unity
• Worked on mobile and or Gear VR game development preferred
• Take direction
• Work autonomously
• Must have own equipment. Own licences preferred.

Game development has already begun and we require someone who can start immediately. We estimate that there is 3 weeks of work available, however we are willing to work with a contractor on a part time basis if need be, provided that work is completed by mid September. While the developers are located in South East Qld, this is a work-from-home position, and we are open to candidates from around Australia.

Your Response
We are interested in hearing about your previous experience, technical ability and capability to deliver all or part of the above Project Specifics. A link to your portfolio and examples of previous work are essential. It is important that we deliver this project within the time frame above, and we would like to know how many hours you can commit to each week. We are happy to negotiate payment as a fixed price rate.
