Vote now on the game development ideas for the National Cultural Policy

A new National Cultural Policy for Australia is being developed which will determine the next 10-15 years of government policy. Involvement has been requested from the arts and culture sector, creative industries, and the public at large on how the Australian Government should support the arts and culture sector for the future. Here's your chance to contribute to the development of a new National Cultural Policy regarding the area of games development.

Pia Waugh from The Digital Culture Public Sphere has created a community feedback page to vote on the list of ideas for improving Games development in the new policy. Register now, and vote on the ideas that you believe the local games industry needs or even against the ones that don't matter as much. Some of the important ideas include:

  • Tax incentives that makes Australia competitive
  • Pathways & support for smaller independent developers/incubators
  • Establish better talent incubation
