Fologram is a rapidly growing Melbourne-based startup that is building technology to enable designers, architects, educators, engineers and fabricators to explore new ways ways of drawing, building and experimenting in mixed reality. In simple terms mixed reality is technology that allows a viewer to see digital content blended with the real world.
A majority of our growing list of clients are based overseas, including world leading design schools, architecture practices, product designers and construction companies who are using Fologram to design and build experimental pavilions, furniture, interactive media installations and artworks. The technology is also being deployed on live construction sites to assist in the fabrication of complex elements.
As a leader in the field of AR/XR fabrication we not only develop the technology but also explore its potential through workshops at international conferences, physical prototyping at the office and collaborations with industry partners.
As a successful candidate, you will contribute to the front-end of Fologram’s core platform, connecting common CAD platforms to the AR devices including full headsets such as the HoloLens and HoloLens 2, and mobile devices (both Android and iOS).
Work in a team to prototype spatial 3D and 2D interfaces and modes of interaction.
Write simple de-coupled code that can be adapted across mixed platforms (desktop, mobile AR, headset-based AR).
