Our ideal candidate would be able to drive development and contribute meaningfully the the backend technologies that drive our player's experience.
Creating, maintaining, and expanding on gameplay and backend systems and features.
3+ years industry experience in similar role
Minimum 3 years experience using Unity
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science a plus
Experience in mobile game live operations a plus
Experience with client-server architectures or networked applications.
Experience with azure, google, amazon web services.
Strong knowledge of the C# programming language to develop, update, and troubleshoot mobile games for iOS and Android in the Unity Game Engine.
Experience working with Unity specific features (Monobehaviours, Physics, UI, Mechanim).
Ability to write iOS and Android plugins for Unity.
Experience using XCode and submitting apps to the App Store and Play Store.
Experience with Third Party SDK implementation.
Experience with Unity Asset Package implementation.
Ability to work with git version control in SourceTree
Strong communications skills and capability to work well with technical and non-technical team members.
Ability to time manage efficiently and work independently or cooperatively to solve problems, add new features and merge in changes.
Ability to write reliable, easily readable code that matches company style.
Working closely with designers and other team members to create/improve gameplay systems.
Driving development and taking ownership in a variety of systems such as player movement, AI behaviour and movement, UI design/implementation, and inventory management systems.
Testing, debugging, profiling, analysing, and optimising the existing code-base.
Contributing innovative and original ideas on all aspects of game production and development.
