We are searching for an experienced developer to work with us on a mobile app featuring an array of games and AR experiences.
The candidate will be responsible for the mobile app client, made with the Unity game engine for iOS and Android, and therefore must show evidence of at least one major development contribution to a video game or app project, with at least one prior published mobile project on an app store.
This position is a casual (2 days/week) contract working alongside a team of other developers, designers and artists. Work is an immediate start, in our Footscray (Melbourne) office.
We are in the process of creating a number of world first features and are seeking out a talented and enthusiastic developer to join our team!
*Comfortable and experienced working within the Unity editor
*Experience working with Unity APIs and common design patterns
*Familiarity with Unity’s GUI structures and components
*Familiarity with REST APIs and client/server interaction
*Experience coding for apps on mobile platforms
*An example of a commercially released (or commercial quality) game or app you’ve either lead development on or otherwise significantly contributed too
*Familiarity with Git & source control
*Experienced with iOS & Android build tools & deployment processes
*Interest and experience with AR, in particular with Vuforia & image targets
*Demonstrated experience working in a team environment whilst also able to operate independently, and ability to integrate quickly into an existing team
*Work effectively under tight deadlines
*Well developed communication skills
*Good project documentation and code-annotation skills
*Available for immediate start
*Experience working with native-code plugins in unity
*Ability to provide creative input into the design and implementation of gameplay mechanics
*Familiarity with common mobile app interaction & UX paradigms
*Attention to detail
*Sense of humour :p
