We are looking for a QA Analyst with previous games industry experience to join our growing team in New Zealand and help us build the ultimate robot-disintegrating science fiction adventure.
As a member of our QA department, you will be an integral part of the core game development team. You will need to work closely with designers, programmers and content creators to identify, log and track issues to ensure they are resolved as quickly as possible. You will also be required to liaise closely with off-site QA, Standards and Compliance teams, assist with preparing and deploying builds and support both internal and external user tests.
Lastly, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of industry veterans who are toiling hard to create something amazing and world-changing. What more could you ask for?
Maintain high levels of communication with the development team and provide regular updates on bug status and progression.
Prepare, deploy and test game builds as required.
Generate and maintain test plans and use cases to ensure that all functional requirements are met.
Liaise with off-site QA teams to identify, test and verify Standards and Compliance issues
Work with developers to articulate acceptance criteria and communicate test efforts.
Provide feedback to development in regards to operational and performance requirements, as well as possible design improvements.
Previous game development QA experience is essential.
Knowledge and understanding of traditional and novel testing methodologies.
Experience with Standards and Compliance testing.
Previous experience with hardware testing and maintenance is desirable, but not essential
