Wanted: Creative Java Developer(s) to join our Mobile Games production team. Viva La mobile is currently creating some of the biggest titles for 2007 for publishers such as Disney and THQ. Additionally we are publishing our own real-time multiplayer games using our ever-evolving RedStar Multiplayer platform and APIs. All developers at Viva La Mobile get fully involved in the game design process (no one is ?too junior?) so creativity and a passion for games is a must!

We are looking for developers with the following criteria:

- Strong J2ME and/or J2SE/J2EE skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to various APIs and platforms.
- Experience developing on games or apps mobile phones
- Good understanding of the mobile entertainment space.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
- Experience leading a development team is a plus.
- Ability to fit into a very relaxed office environment.

Roles Available include:

Game Developer / Production Lead

In this role the right candidate will be involved with some of the biggest players in the mobile entertainment industry. Aside from the technical skills, a good work ethic and attention to detail are required. Willingness to go the extra mile to make a game Brilliant instead of just Great is important. If you have any demos of previous work then we?d love to see them! Experience with BREW development is a major bonus.

R&D Server Developer

If you have commercial experience with J2SE/J2EE, Servlets, JDBC, client/server connectivity and want to get involved in developing a cutting edge platform for multiplayer games then this is your role! RedStar Platform is the engine behind the multiplayer mobile games that Viva La Mobile is known for. The right candidate will have solid Coding skills and as this is an R&D role they will be able to think and discover solutions through their own methods.

Location: Sydney (Surry Hills)
