Animators

The Animator is responsible for setting up and animating 3D
characters generated by the art department

Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Character rigging
- Character modeling when necessary
- Character texturing when necessary
- Constructing bone rigs and painting skins for existing models
- Creating world-class animations for organic and inorganic models
- Lip synching and facial animation for scripted sequences
- Working within strict time constraints
- Reporting to art director, producer and project manager

Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years games industry experience
- Proven animation skills (2 and 4 legged characters)
- Proven modeling skills
- Proven texturing skills
- Strong knowledge of Maya animation system
- A keen eye for lighting, shading, color, detail and form
- An ability to create natural motion, quickly and with ease
- Exceptional attention to detail (down to the pixel/material level)
- Expert in Max5, Character studio (especially biped), Photoshop
- Strong concept sketch ability a major plus
- Familiarity with technical concepts of real time rendering a plus

Game Designer

The Game Designer is responsible for creative writing, object placement and scripting/implementation of the world in a game structure. They must be capable of technical documentation outlining the theoretical application of a system.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

- Create and execute level and system design documents
- Design system from combat, through puzzle design to interface flow.
- Maintain regular communication with the Lead Designer
- Place game objects throughout a world
- Set up scripts to impact various design-oriented systems
- Tune and balance levels, puzzles, triggers and effects

Required Skills/Experience:

- Minimum 2 years game industry experience
- At least one published title and subsequent production experience
from concept to delivery.
- Proven ability to design engaging gaming experiences
- Ability to think and be familiar with 3D space
- Ability to think like the end user
- Communication skills to easily liaise with programming, sound, art and animation teams.
- Written English and creative writing skills a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of 3D art tools advantageous
- Love of games and multiple genres a must
- Highly motivated and organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Level Designer

The Senior Programmer is responsible for the systems design and programming implementation of the technical and game design documents. We currently seek someone that will be familiar with PS2 and GameCube architecture, and have developed engine code for at least one shipped title.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Developing resuable system architecture
- Researching and implementing new technologies
- Develop and code the more complex game systems
- Assist with forming schedules
- Complete programming tasks in accordance with schedule
- Ensure high quality code
- Perform functional testing on their code
- Fix bugs

Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 4 years game industry experience with 1 year in a senior role
- Strong C and C++ skills
- Solid 3D math skills
- PS2 and/or GameCube experience is essential
- Familiarity with assembly language is essential
- Working within scheduled time constraints
- Communicating quality issues with lead programmer and technical
director
- Reporting to Producer, Project Manager or Technical Director
- Working within a team environment
- Showing particular attention to detail
- Being familiar with current games

Lead programmer

:
The Lead Programmer is responsible for the design and implementation of the game system architecture. It is also their responsibility to manage all programming resources including people and time.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

- Develop and code the more complex game systems
- Develop all programming schedules
- Track and adjust all schedules
- Ensure high quality code
- Perform functional testing on their code
- Fix bugs
- Plan overall game architecture
- Supervise all programmers
- Priortize task lists

Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 6 years game industry experience with 2 years in a lead role
- Solid 3D math skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent C/C++ and software architectural design skills
- Strong 3D programming skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Familiarity with latest concepts of real time rendering and AI
- Passion for games and achieving excellence - someone who always

QA Tester

The Test Engineer will be responsible for the testing of all PC,
Console and Handheld games.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Defect testing on all game products
- Bug reporting for each product tested
- Test case creation and management
- Performance testing on all game products
- Organising and creating builds for testing and delivery
- Management of internal and external bug databases
- Very clear and concise communication of all issues
- Reporting to producer and project manager
- Assist with organisation and execution of focus tests
- Assist with production, scheduling and task allocation as requested by management.
