We are seeking an experienced games designer for tutorial sessions in the upcoming trimester.
Students are given methodologies essential in the creation of game assets such as, movement, interaction, in game tools, weapons and vehicular characteristic design to name but a few. Students are taught to consider and subsequently design micro elements for games that culminate in an immersive and most importantly, "fun" experience for the end user.
There is a commitment of 3hrs, evening class 6pm - 9pm for twelve weeks.
The role is primarily a technical one and would suit someone comfortable with scripting and assisting students in their major project. Topics covered include:
* M.U.G.E.N - mele Design
* Balancing Strategies
* HUD development
We would be interested in hearing for experienced parties. Ideally this would suit someone currently working in the games Industry, who wanted to assist the next generation of game designers reach their full potential.
